Tea and Writing - August Edition

Hi everyone!:D
I know I didn't do this last month, but time ran out.;P
Idea credit to the fabulous Kathryn from In the Depths of Dreams.
As of late, I haven't been drinking much tea since it's been, oh, I don't know OVER 100 DEGREES! UGH!!! I'm so ready for cold weather. Please.XD And lately I've been doing lots of drawing, but I thought I'd feature something different.;)

What I've Been Drinking-
Well Rested herbal tea. The last few nights I haven't been getting to sleep too well- I'll fall asleep, then around 3 am, I'll wake up and will have a hard time going to sleep again. So, this tea is good for me.:) I took it last night, and I slept through the whole night!:D
What I've Been Writing-
Same old, same old. My Star Wars fan fic of sorts.;) I haven't been writing a ton, but today on Go Teen Writers they started doing their Word Wars, which are so fun! Practically, they're when you write with other people (over the Internet) for an amount of time, then you share with them how many words you wrote. It's really fun, and I find it's one of my favorite ways to write! If you want to join the writing fun, click the link above and join a word war! I'm always looking to join a war, so it's likely that if you start one in the late afternoon/evening, I'll join!;D

I hope you liked reading this post!:D

What's your favorite way of writing? For example- long writing days, short bursts like word wars, specified days where you write for an allotted amount of time, etc.

Tea and Drawings - April Edition + Weekly Writing Prompt #5

Hi everyone!:)
Lately, I have been very drawing crazed, so I have been drawing, drawing, and drawing. But when you draw a lot, you start to run out of ideas, which is what I was dealing with. Then Jaclynn told me to finish some of my unfinished drawings...which wasn't such a bad idea.
So that's what I did and that's what I am doing!:)
Since I've been drawing recently, it only seemed fair to feature drawing as my subject for "Tea and Whatever Else I Do While Drinking Tea".
What I am Drinking:
I am drinking a seasonal tea from Trader Joe's called Pumpkin Spice Rooibos. I was looking for something to drink, when I saw this in the back of my cabinet. I was so happy because I really love this tea flavor, but I thought I had drank all of it already, but there was a sealed box and now I am drinking it.XD

Now for the drawing part of this post, I am dividing the drawings into three categories, New, Finished but Were Unfinished Earlier, and Unfinished That I Plan to Finish Soon.;)
The first category is New!
Finnick in his Elephant suit from Zootopia! Isn't he adorable!
*dies from too much cuteness*
Senator Chuchi from Clone Wars! I love this drawing, it was so fun to do, but when I compare it to the original picture, I see all of the parts where it doesn't match up to the original, but I like it on its own! LOL!;)

Now for the next category, Finished but Were Unfinished Earlier!;)
This drawing of me and Jaclynn at Disneyland waiting in line for Space Mountain!:D
Hehe. This girl was originally supposed to be finished for Saint Patrick's Day for me to post... I'm a little late...XD
The last one is a drawing of me and Jaclynn as Master and Padawan.:) I am so happy I finished this drawing, I love it!:D

Last category- Unfinished That I Plan to Finish Soon!
A drawing of Nick and Judy from Zootopia hugging. It's sort of a mess.XD
And a more recent drawing I did but didn't finish! It's just a random girl that I imagine would be a pirate or from a pirate world!;)

That wraps up the Tea and Drawings post, now for this week's writing prompt!:)
If this inspired you, I would love to know!:) Or if you write something based off of it, I'd love to see what you wrote!:D

Tea and a Read and Some Other Things! - March Edition

Hi everyone!:)
I am here with my monthly "Tea and Whatever Else I Do While I Drink Said Tea"! LOL! This month I am reading!:)
What I'm Drinking:
Trader Joe's Blackberry Fruit Infusion Tea! It's so good and for some reason the smell reminds me of fruit filled donuts!;D It's one of my new favorite teas!:)
What I'm Reading:
C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. I've been wanting to read this book for forever, then I asked my mom if we had it and she got it for me from one of our many, many bookshelves!;)

This book is the combined letters of a demon named Screwtape to his nephew, Wormwood. It's a Christian book. The letters are on multiple different subjects teaching Wormwood how to deceive Christians and it's very eye opening. You sort of read it in vice versa, where he is teaching his nephew the tricks of tricking humans, so you learn their ways and how to be careful not to be deceived. I would say that the book is for teens and adults since some subjects are for adults.
I've found some really good quotes and have written some down such as the following:

I love those!:) The Enemy is Jesus/God since the letters are from a demon.;)
That finishes up the Tea and a Read!:)
Now onto other news!
I got a new Disney Infinity Figure, actually two! Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett!:D
This is Obi-Wan!;)

And then here are just two random pictures that I took!;)

I hope you enjoyed the post!:D What have you been reading lately? I'd love to know!:)

Iced Tea and a Read - February Edition

Hey everyone!
I'm here with my February edition of Tea and (add word here)! I realized I didn't do a January one. Oops.;) LOL!
What I am Reading-
Model Undercover : London
What I am Drinking:
Iced green tea.
This is the third book in the Model Undercover series. I am in love with it, it is about a detective/model, Axelle, who solves fashion mysteries. I love how the author mixes modeling and solving mysteries, two unlikely subjects that make a perfect match! I have been devouring the book over the past two days and can't wait to see what's going to happen next.:)
Since the weather where I am is creeping (did I say creeping? More like SKYROCKETING!) hotter and hotter (it's been in the nineties. That should be illegal somehow!!), hot tea is kind of impractical. So, I opted for some iced tea. We get it from Trader Joe's, and I think my mom even adds some peppermint essential oil for extra mint flavor.;)

I hope you liked reading about what I have been reading and drinking.;) I have a lot of posts ready, so expect more soon!:)

Tea and a Read - October Edition

Hi everyone!
Today we decorated for fall, so now it smells like autumn and our whole downstairs is mostly orange!;)

I thought I would share with you all what I'm drinking and reading today---
Okay, let's start with what I'm drinking.:)
I am drinking Madagascar Vanilla African Red Herbal Tea. It's a tea that is mellowly flavored, yet still super delicious and creamy (when you add milk, like I do!;))
Here's the little cover! Oh, look at the lion sitting down for a cup of tea. Look, he doesn't even want to eat those zebras back there because he likes his tea better! That's my kind of lion!XD
Now! For what I am reading!
I was exploring my book cases for some book to read (after I finished the second book in the Unwanteds series, just in case you wanted to know which book I finished!;P), I set my eyes on this beautiful one, and I sat down in my sister's closet (where most of our books are) and began to look through it. I ended up deciding I would try reading Pride and Prejudice and see how it goes!;)
The book contains four books that Jane Austen has made and Pride and Prejudice is the second one.:) The book contains the following: Sense and Sensibility, Emma, and Persuasion as well as Pride and Prejudice.:)
I tried reading Sense and Sensibility a couple years ago and I was so lost and I got around page ten and had to stop because I couldn't keep asking my mom what words meant.XD But I haven't came across any words I needed help on or thought were important enough to look up now!:)
My oldest sister says that there is a lot of humor in these books that when you're young you'll miss, and I see that, but I am also super happy because I am actually getting some of the humor in it already! Uh oh....Am I growing up? O.O

*hides under a blanket and sings every My Little Pony song and Barbie song she can think of*

Well, anywho, I am really excited to read this because a lot of people like the book and I really love the movie so I thought I would try it out.:)

Oh! And here's a little decoration we have around our house. Isn't he so cute?:)

Tea and Writing

Hi everyone!
The amazing Kathryn at her fanastic blog, In the Depths of Dreams, made a really fun post called Tea and a Read. I really enjoyed it and she challenged us to make a post about what we are drinking and reading. Well. I didn't feel like reading tonight, but I did feel like writing! So I am composing this post to tell all of you what I am drinking and writing!:D
What I am drinking-
The Harvest Blend Herbal Tea from Trader Joe's! Fall is right around the corner (which means my summer reading challenge is over too! Guess how many books, in the comments below, I was able to finish!:D) and that means PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!! Trader Joe's has brought in all of their new pumpkin flavored food, which means that I practically eat pumpkin in every meal! I was inspired by Kathryn and the approaching season to drink this yummy fall flavored tea!;)

What I am writing-
Hehe! What I am writing is almost a sort of fan fiction based off of the plot of Frozen, but using different characters...more specifically, I am using myself as Anna and my best friend as Elsa.
If you know me and my best friend, then you know we have nicknames for each other (Cookie and Dee, I'm Cookie, she's Dee), we pretend that we are desserts and for this story I am a Cookie princess and she is the princess of Donuts, she has donut powers and the story goes almost exactly like Frozen does, but it's all food. It's sort of hard to explain over a post.;)
So that's why I have the script of Frozen in the picture. I need it sometimes to remember how certain people say certain things.;)

I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great rest of the night!:D
