Star Wars ComLINKS - Clone Troopers and Rex

Hi everyone!
I had so much fun doing last month's Star Wars ComLINKS that I decided to try doing all of the ones from now on.;)

This month's topic is "Favorite Trooper"!

I had a bit of a hard time trying to decide which kind of trooper was my favorite...when it hit me!

Clone troopers are by far my favorite kind! Something about the awesome design of their helmets and the way a lot of the armor is customized to the clone is just so cool! Like, I can't explain why I love it so much!

But although I love all the clones, my favorite in particular is Captain Rex! His helmet's artwork is simple yet totally perfect for him, and him in general is awesome! I love the special "accessories" to his armor, like the shoulder pad and hip pads (or whatever.;P). I loved getting to see him again in Rebels with Ahsoka.
*sigh*

So, yeah. He's my favorite.XD

12 Things I Need

Hi everyone!

I thought it would be fun to make a post about the things I "need". So, not things that are actually made, but something I need that isn't made yet. I've got so many things...I can't...XD

*some spoilers for Star Wars Rebels included*

*and possibly The Clone Wars*

1. A TV show set in the in-between years of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. It would be all about Ahsoka and how she went from Jedi Padawan to Fulcrum. I need to see how she dealt first-hand with the results of what happened during TCW. I need to see her run into evil street thugs and for her to reach for her lightsabers and for them not to be there. I need to see her journey. I want to see how she looked in between TCW and Rebels. I need this TV show so hard. LUCASFILM, OH MY GOSH, I NEED IT!!! PLEEAAASSSE!!! I seriously want this so bad I want to make a petition.

2. The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels tsum tsums. 'nuff said.

3. The next book in Keeper of the Lost Cities. At least I know that this is coming, but it still needs to be up here.XD

4. An orange lightsaber! I want a legit lightsaber, but the problem is, I want it to be orange and I have yet to see an orange lightsaber around since it's an Expanded Universe color. Sigh...I'll have to keep looking.

5. ZOOTOPIA SEQUEL!!! I seriously think that Zootopia would make an amazing movie series, don't you? All of the different cases Nick and Judy could solve together! *squeal*

6. Ahsoka Vinylmations. I would so get that.

7. THE NEXT SEASON OF REBELS! This is like my Keeper request, but I MEAN OH MY STINKING GOSH, HOW COULD THEY LEAVE US LIKE THAT? EVERYTHING'S CHANGED...

*curls up into a ball and hermits for five thousand years*

*except to watch the third season XD*

8. An Ahsoka American Girl doll. I really want to make a custom doll of her, but I have no idea how I could make her montrals! I'm not very skilled with clay...:( Maybe I could make a humanized version of her?;) That might be fun!

9. Lux Bonterri to show up in season three of Rebels! I would LOVE that! I would die!

10. For Rogue One to get here already. After having a lot of new information about characters being given out, I can't be any more excited.XD

11. A Keeper of the Lost Cities movie series! But I need it to be JUST like the books in every way with top knotch acting and perfect casting or else I'd be so angry I'd go all Kylo Ren on the world.XD

(basically have a huge tantrum)

12. An awesome Disney Rey doll in the same style as the Disney Princesses. I think so many people would love that! And not just Rey, but (shocker) AHSOKA, TOO!!! I need an awesome Ahsoka doll, preferably the adult version, but I would love a young one, too!:)

Those are all of the things I can think of at the moment! Is there anything that you desperately need that no one has thought about yet or that is coming but not fast enough?:) Or maybe we share some of the same wants?:)

It's That Time Again! - Sketchbook Favorites

Hi everyone!

First off, can you believe that I haven't posted on here in some crazy amount of time, like a week or something?? I can't, but I think I know why...

 

I literally can't draw anything other than Ahsoka.

 

It's getting to be where I'm embarrassed at how she's practically the only thing I've drawn lately. I don't want to bore you all, so I've lacked posts that don't involve her in them.XD

 

Anyway, I finally finished my sketchbook, it took me since February and I was shocked to see my first drawing in the sketchbook- that drawing seemed like forever ago! But it's only been around for four months! Wow! Here are my top favorites from this sketchbook, some of which you haven't seen before (a lot you have though!;))!:D

My most recent Kylo Ren drawing!

I love how this turned out, and I think it might be one of my best drawings, so it had to be my number one favorite drawing of this sketchbook!

2-

This drawing of Ahsoka is one of my proudest drawings I've done. It was super fun to do only with pencil, even though I'm sort of dying to know how it would look like with color.;)

3-

Hehe, another drawing of Ahsoka, but adult Ahsoka! You guys just recently saw this one, but I love it so much, it had to show up for this post.:) I feel like the colors turned out perfectly, and I think she looks so realistic!:) 

4-

I think I've been improving with the profile angle of faces. Before, they used to be cumbersome and annoying, but now I love doing them!:)

5-

This drawing of me and my sister as Star Wars characters!;) I have always really loved this picture, but now I'm realizing how awkward my sister's lightsaber is, it should be way longer! LOL!

6-

My first drawing of Ahsoka, but the last one in this post!;) I'm noticing that Ahsoka's boots never changed when her outfits did...

Judy and Nick!
Nick has to be my favorite character in this drawing! With his eyelids, which were so fun to draw, and his adorable snout, I couldn't leave him out of the post!

I had so much fun drawing this picture of me as a Star Wars character, who happens to be a Jedi Padawan. I love my orange lightsaber!OuO

9-

I drew this picture for Jaclynn because she wants a purple lightsaber, but in the story I'm making of us (we're in the Star Wars universe) I gave her a blue lightsaber. To keep her happy, I'm going to give her a cameo where she fights with a purple lightsaber, which I then illustrated. I really liked the drawing.;)

I always really like making these posts, although I feel awkward saying "I love this drawing" because I don't want to sound prideful and boastful.;P I hope it doesn't come off that way.:)

Glazed Part Twenty-One

Gooday, mate!XD

I am here with Glazed! YAY! And I rechecked and the "scary thing" happens in the part after this one, so I was wrong again. LOL!;D

But anyway, here's Glazed-

Jaclynn took another step up the mountain. She was lost, she was cold, and her feet were killing her. Turning to look at how far away she had ran, Jaclynn gazed out at the view. The far away castle did nothing but glisten in the moonlight. She turned back to the mountain and couldn't help to feel anything other than sad. But the night was growing colder and she would be needing a place to stay. She sat down and buried her face in her hands, when she felt the warmth of her glove against her freezing cheeks. She stared at her gloved hand and sighed.

How long would she continue to hide from everyone? How long would it take for someone to find her? What would they do if she did find her?

Jaclynn's eyes widened as she thought of the gruesome possibilities. She continued thinking about what could happen until she couldn't take it anymore.

“Stop this right now,” She whispered to herself, “I need to stop worrying about people finding out about this. I need to let go of my fear-”

Jaclynn gazed at her hands and stood up, smiling, “-and embrace my power as a gift. Like when I was a child.” Jaclynn ripped her glove off and flung it into the sky. She unfastened the clasp on her cape and let the heavy cloak fall to the ground. She walked away from the cape and she felt her spirit lighten as the weight of her fear slowly slid away.

She walked farther up the mountain, then imagined a glaze staircase, and she pushed the magic surging inside her out of her hands. The staircase appeared just as she imagined it and she raced up it. Grinning, she scanned the area at the top of the staircase and an idea formed in her head. Jaclynn brought her hands up and let her powers do the rest. A castle made of hardened, icy glaze twisted up the side of the mountain and Jaclynn wove her hand through the air, guiding its walls and ceiling into place. This was to be her new home, where she could stay and be safe from the others. As the castle finished its last touches, she thought about her old home and Emma.

She choked back a sob and shook her head. She reached up to her tiara and fingered the donut charms that hung from the gold crown. She squeezed her eyes shut, then thrust it away.

She wasn't going back. They had nothing to offer her.

Pushing away her past felt freeing and she continued remaking her new self, spirit soaring. She grabbed the donut pin that kept her hair in a tight bun and ripped it out, letting her curls fall around her shoulders as the headache embedded in her skull finally relented after so many years of the same painful hairdo. She flicked her hands around her dress and a colorful new dress began to grow from the bottom of the skirt until it reached her throat. The magic swirled around her head and the dull blue sprinkles in her hair changed into a rainbow of colored sprinkles.

Jaclynn walked out to the terrace, eyes blazing with power as she felt her magic forging inside of her, setting her free. And Emma was safe, she thought with satisfaction and a tiny shard of pain. The sun rose from behind the hills and Jaclynn grinned. Now she was how she was meant to be.
