12 Things I Need

Hi everyone!

I thought it would be fun to make a post about the things I "need". So, not things that are actually made, but something I need that isn't made yet. I've got so many things...I can't...XD

*some spoilers for Star Wars Rebels included*

*and possibly The Clone Wars*

1. A TV show set in the in-between years of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. It would be all about Ahsoka and how she went from Jedi Padawan to Fulcrum. I need to see how she dealt first-hand with the results of what happened during TCW. I need to see her run into evil street thugs and for her to reach for her lightsabers and for them not to be there. I need to see her journey. I want to see how she looked in between TCW and Rebels. I need this TV show so hard. LUCASFILM, OH MY GOSH, I NEED IT!!! PLEEAAASSSE!!! I seriously want this so bad I want to make a petition.

2. The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels tsum tsums. 'nuff said.

3. The next book in Keeper of the Lost Cities. At least I know that this is coming, but it still needs to be up here.XD

4. An orange lightsaber! I want a legit lightsaber, but the problem is, I want it to be orange and I have yet to see an orange lightsaber around since it's an Expanded Universe color. Sigh...I'll have to keep looking.

5. ZOOTOPIA SEQUEL!!! I seriously think that Zootopia would make an amazing movie series, don't you? All of the different cases Nick and Judy could solve together! *squeal*

6. Ahsoka Vinylmations. I would so get that.

7. THE NEXT SEASON OF REBELS! This is like my Keeper request, but I MEAN OH MY STINKING GOSH, HOW COULD THEY LEAVE US LIKE THAT? EVERYTHING'S CHANGED...

*curls up into a ball and hermits for five thousand years*

*except to watch the third season XD*

8. An Ahsoka American Girl doll. I really want to make a custom doll of her, but I have no idea how I could make her montrals! I'm not very skilled with clay...:( Maybe I could make a humanized version of her?;) That might be fun!

9. Lux Bonterri to show up in season three of Rebels! I would LOVE that! I would die!

10. For Rogue One to get here already. After having a lot of new information about characters being given out, I can't be any more excited.XD

11. A Keeper of the Lost Cities movie series! But I need it to be JUST like the books in every way with top knotch acting and perfect casting or else I'd be so angry I'd go all Kylo Ren on the world.XD

(basically have a huge tantrum)

12. An awesome Disney Rey doll in the same style as the Disney Princesses. I think so many people would love that! And not just Rey, but (shocker) AHSOKA, TOO!!! I need an awesome Ahsoka doll, preferably the adult version, but I would love a young one, too!:)

Those are all of the things I can think of at the moment! Is there anything that you desperately need that no one has thought about yet or that is coming but not fast enough?:) Or maybe we share some of the same wants?:)

American Girl Doll Artist's Drawing Requests

Hi everyone!:D

I finally finished the first request! American Girl Doll Artist's!

She asked for---

- drawings of scenes from Keeper of the Lost Cities.

- more Star Wars drawings

And so I did!:)

 

This drawing was inspired by the scene where Sophie goes to her room with Marty and realizes that her parents must not be her parents.

 

This drawing was inspired by the scene where Sophie has to go to "the doctor"/Elwin to receive a check up.;)

 

And since AGDA requested more Star Wars drawings (and I know she loves BB-8), I drew her the BB-8 picture where he's giving Finn "thumbs-up"!;D

Also, I know I haven't really mentioned this before, but my sister and I have a blog, Uniquely You, that I would love if you checked out! I know some of my followers have gone there, but that blog isn't very well known.;) I would love it if you checked it out. It's a fashion blog and we post about our outfits, hairstyles, make up sometimes, and occasionally fandom stuff.;) So, check that out!:)

Creating Worlds Writing Camp - Challenge 1

Soooo....Glazed needs to get posted, I know, I know.

*laughs nervously*

I've been busy though, so um, yeah. I haven't been able to draw any pictures for it yet, sorry.:(

BUT I am doing Loren's writing camp so here's my first challenge!:D

(Oh, and I am on Team Keepers! WE'RE GOING TO WIN! YEAAAAH!!!!XD)

 

 

Prompts I used-

 

 

I ducked through the streets, hoping that none of the Terrors saw me. I choked back tears, my world was so evil, so dark. I had no hope for a better time. I thought these things as I wove through an alley, then saw a Terror. They usually had tall scale covered bodies and murky gray-green eyes that looked like shifting fog over a swamp, but this Terror looked different. It didn't have the dark silver, almost black, scales but leathery blush colored skin, like how I imagined a dragon might have, and it had squinted yet sparkling green eyes. It drew me to it, although I tried to fight the feeling. The Terror was like a light and me as if I was a moth, walked toward it.

"You are like no Terror I have seen before," I whispered and the creature looked down at me, it's face glowing with a smile, something I never saw anymore.

"That's because I am no Terror, girl. Terrors are harsh, horrible creatures that make lives into nightmares for citizens. But I was the first 'so called Terror'. I am the original. And back then, when we were created, we made lives more peaceful for humans, more like wonderful dreams," the creature said and I frowned.

"So, what happened?" I asked as I looked at the cracked and dusty ground of my desert city.

"Hate, anger, greed, revenge. The Terrors as they are now called can't handle these things. They execute their revenge by turning their powers to be dark and cruel. But I have learned to not let the darkness penetrate me. I would rather be a light. For when you put light into a dark room, the darkness must be diminished. And that's how it will always be," the creature's smile turned sad. "So don't give up hope, girl. Love, bring joy, and you will have the power over evil."

I shook my head. "Evil is too powerful and there isn't any good in the world anymore. There is no peace."

"No. There will always be good in the world. You just have to find it," it continued. "I was brought here because you have lost your hope. MY hope is that you will take my words as the truth and find joy even in the darkest time. Now go, and spread the hope you have learned."

I looked away and felt my soul lighten. It was right. I had to be hopeful even when all seemed lost.

I turned back to the creature.

"Thank-" I began but trailed off. The dusty alleyway was empty except for a tiny pink flower growing out of a crack in the ground.

Best and Worst Day....Ever....*fangirls* + NEVERSEEN LAUNCH PARTY! YAYYY!

Shannon Messenger has a dark side...Shannon Messenger is evil.

Okay, I just had to say that before anything. Because, it is so true and I never knew. Last night was the most soul crushing, gut wrenching night of my life. Well, that's a bit dramatic, but pretty accurate.;)

It was the most incredibly terrible, most wonderful night I have experienced.

Lem'me start at the beginning.
Two days ago, I went to the Neverseen launch party and it was amazing! I got the book earlier then the release date and I finished it in one day and night. It was amazing. I got to just hunker down in my room and HERMIT. I was in Keeper heaven. But then I got to the end of the book...and as pages ran out I was shouting NO! and crying- I knew it! and just plain dying.
That book....has left me at THE WORST CLIFF HANGER I HAVE EVER KNOWN.
Worse than Sherlock, worse than A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G.
And now I have to wait a year, when she practically left me with nothing but a boat-load of feels.
I could NOT move for five minutes after I finished the book. I was too stunned. I was too heartbroken. And I'm pretty sure I shed a few tears just because I was so much emotional turmoil.XD
But I have to wait a year.
*sigh*
A whole year. ugh.

Okay, well, I think it's time for me to talk about how AMAZING the Neverseen launch party was!
We walked into the Barnes and Noble that was hosting it and I saw this as soon as I walked into the store--

I was so excited and we immediately grabbed a book, then two sketchbooks (YES! I FINALLY GOT MY SKETCHBOOK!) and paid!:) I got a bracelet for the event and since we were there so early, we went and got something to eat then rushed back to the signing.:)

This is the glorious cover. It's been my phone's screen saver since, like, May.XD 

This is me and my sister up front by the table, before anyone really got there, but there was still a cool poster thing! Also, now I really want KEEPER posters!XD 

Then they got everything set up and I took a picture! It looked so cool and I loved the decorations! Everything was green! 

They had a sort of picture booth where you could take pictures of yourself holding up little poster things and "Team fill in blank space" sticks. My sister was confused and so she just grabbed a random person poster (Turns out it was Stina!XD) along with Team Silveny, and I grabbed a Sophie poster and a Team Fitz stick...Oh! Sophie and Fitz...together... I wonder what I meant by that?;P 

After some voting for which team was the best team (I think Team Sophie won, but Team Keefe was a close runner up) and a SUPER fun Q & A (I got so inspired to write!) with Shannon Messenger, we did the actual signing! This picture shows her signing my book and me and my sister grabbing the swag.:) 

Shannon Messenger was so nice and was totally awesome, definitely how I imagined her and she even called me cute!XD Yep, now I can go around in my head and say- "Shannon Messenger called me cute!" over and over and over!XD XD 

They asked us which stamp we wanted, Neverseen or the Black Swan and I said the Black Swan but then Shannon said something like-

"I've just been waiting for someone to ask for both,"

and so we were all like-

"YES! Give us both!"XD So we were the first person in the line to ask for both stamps!:D 

The nice little reminder and her signature!:D 

After we got our things, they gave us the MOST AMAZING MALLOWMELT CUPCAKES! They were delicious and totally tasted like how you would imagine mallowmelt to taste like!:)

 

Now I am going to show you what the swag was!:)-- 

A Silveny pin that I have now pinned onto my purse so all can see that I am a Keeper!:D 

This super epic two sided poster.:) 

On the other side they show the new characters that are in the book, and I thought that if someone is excited to read the book, they wouldn't want to know what they looked like.:) But I will show you all what characters have already shown up.:) This is Stina! I love this picture because it helped me picture her in my head, I couldn't do it very well before.:)

Wylie! I love this drawing of him, he looks so cool!:D 

Aw, little Jensi! He's so cute, but not exactly how I imagined him, but close.:) 

Alvar! Not how I imagined him again, but sort of similar.:) 

An Iggy Has The Blues poster drawn by Shannon Messenger! AH! He's so adorable!:D:D 

And last but not least, two patches! One for Neverseen and one for The Black Swan!:D

I had so much fun at the party and I am in love with the book despite how much I hate it at the same time.XD

Keeper Character Drawings! Part Uno

Hi everyone!

Jaclynn, don't you dare be sad this post has to do with Keeper!XD XD

So, how have you all been?

I've been good. Thanks for asking...;P

 

I have been drawing characters from my favorite book series, KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES!!!

(Oh yeah! Oh yeah!)

I love these books and I decided I would try my hand at drawing some of the characters!:D

I have only drawn two so far, (Sophie Foster and Biana Vacker) but that's only because....

 

*bites lip*

 

*trembles at the horror*

 

*takes deep breath*

 

*whispering because it's too terrible to say too loudly* I've run out of space in my sketchbook -again- so that means.....I CAN'T DRAW ANY MORE! *bursts into tears*

 

So that means that until I get a new sketchbook, I won't be drawing the characters of KEEPER, which means that the drawings will be split up between two posts.:)

 

But anyways, here are the two drawings I've done so far.:)

 

 

Here's my drawing of Sophie!

I am really proud of it, I think it turned out great. It's really different to draw characters of books, because you can't SEE them like you can in a movie or a TV show. So these pictures are based off of the book covers and how I imagine the characters.:) 

 

And here is Biana!

I'm glad she turned out because, originally, I thought I was just going to have to trash this drawing and call it quits. But other than me thinking that her eyes should be a tad bit lower on her face, I think she looks a lot like how I imagine her.:D

So that is all for this post, but once I get a new sketchbook and struggle with the guys *shudders*, I'll post my drawings of them.:)

I tried drawing Fitz and it was so...terrifying...I can not do him how I imagine him. My drawings of guys still DEFINITELY need work, but I've been drawing and drawing and drawing Fitz in particular, trying to figure out how I see him and trying to remember the picture of him in my head long enough for me to see his face shape and hair, and...I think I am getting closer to how I see him!:D

Huzzah!;)

 

But it's scary to think that I haven't tried at all to draw Keefe or Dex....Or any other guy in KEEPER.... *stares off into space* I might just die.XD XD

Bedtime Book Tag!

Hi everyone!

I was nominated for this tag by Kathryn, and I am so excited to do this! It looked so fun and I loved her post, so here it is!:D

 

1. A Book That Kept You Up All Night-

KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES! Those books would always make me really upset when I had to go to sleep. I am SO EXCITED FOR THE NEXT KEEPER TO COME OUT IN NOVEMBER!!! IT'S SO CLOSE!!!!

 

2. A Book That Made You Scared To Sleep

Hm, I really don't read a lot of scary books, but I do remember one night I was reading the first book in The Seven Wonders series for the first time and I was already anxious so I became worried that what was happening to Jack would happen to me since he had just turned 13 and I had just turned 13 at that time.;) But I love that series now. I AM ALSO VERY VERY EXCITED FOR THE RELEASE OF THE NEXT BOOK FOR THAT SERIES TOO!!!

 

3. A Book That Made You Go To Sleep

Hmmmm, usually if there are books that are THAT boring, I end up not reading it...Lemme go look at my book cases and see! BRB!;)

 

Okay, I'm back and I have three books that I was too bored to finish reading-

 

Theater Shoes by Noel  Streatfield

I was so bored when I began this book, I got to page four and couldn't continue! LOL!

 

Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes

I couldn't finish this book either. Really, some historical books are just SO boring (but I do love exciting historical fiction)! They get so bogged down with the details that I feel like there isn't a plot! You all will think I'm crazy, but I really can't read any classics!

OH MY GOSH!!!! FORGET ALL OF THOSE BOOKS I JUST LISTED!!! THEY ARE THE BEST BOOKS IN COMPARISON TO TREASURE ISLAND.
WORSE BOOK EVER!!!!!!

I absolutely DETEST that book. I can't believe I even finished it! It was so boring it took me a couple weeks to finish! UGH!

 

4. A Book That Left You Tossing And Turning All Night In Anticipation Of It's Release

Keeper! SO KEEPER! But, if I have to say a new book each time, then I would say....

Story's End by Marissa Burt. When I read the first book in the sequel, I was dying to read the second one!:D

 

5. A Book That Has Your Dream Boyfriend/Girlfriend

*sigh* This is Keeper again.

I WILL MARRY FITZ!!!!XD LOL!
He's so perfect and just all around AMAZING!!!! But I would totally date...OH MY GOSH I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS NAME! OH! KEEFE! Oh my gosh, that was so weird. I couldn't remember his name for so long! I feel so bad!XD

But yeah, Keefe and Fitz. I tell the book covers how gorgeous they are. I think I might have a problem.....;)

 

6. A Book That Would Be Your Worse Nightmare To Live in

I had to think about this for a bit, but I decided on Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. Probably because the author inside of the book got to meet the terrible villain that he had created and how he was so terrified. And just seriously CAPRICORN IS SO SCARY! I really wouldn't want to meet him!

(Also, that book is one of THE best books and I recommend it if you don't mind a ton of swearing. Really, I don't know why people have to add a swear word to every page! AND TO A CHILDREN'S BOOK!)

 

7. A Book That Reminds You Of Night Time

I'm going to have to say Pegasus by Kate O'Hearn just because the cover was painted to look like night time.:)

 

8. A Book That Had A Nightmarish Cliffhanger

Uhhhh, I feel like a lot of the books I read don't have that great of cliff hangers. I'm going to have to consult my book cases again...Enthschuldigung...(German for excuse me.;))

 

Okay, so I didn't find a lot of books with epic cliffhangers, but I remember that the Half Upon A Time series had some good ones!:)

 

 9. A Book That You Actually Dreamed About
Hm, I can't recall dreaming about a book (yeah, I'm boring, sorry:/). I'm more of the person to dream about shows, for instance, Sherlock has come into my dreams many times!;)
But I have daydreamed about books a lot before, like myself being characters in books.;)

10. A Book Monster You Wouldn't Want Want To Find Under Your Bed-
There are so many creepy monsters in the book universe, but I think that waking up with a Bog Noblin under your bed would be TERRIFYING! Bog Noblins are from the book The Luck Uglies by Paul Durham. I really want the next book in that series!:)

Well, that's it! That was super fun and I really loved making this post! I can get really crazy about books. Especially one in particular...hehe!;)
