Recreating... #4

Hi guys!
First off I wanna say thank you to the people who have taken my survey- and if you haven't yet, go do so! :D

AND NOW FOR ANOTHER RECREATION!

This one turned out really well in my opinion, and I can't wait to see what you guys think! So, let's get started with the original drawing I did!

This drawing I did around late 2014, I think, or whenever Into the Woods came out as a movie. So...there are quite a few problems with it, starting off with her unbalanced features. Her eyes are too far to one side, and that's the biggest problem on her face. Next, her arms are insanely skinny and don't connect where they should, and her chest is just...really funky. And adding onto things being unbalanced, her torso is too far to the right. I also didn't give her a pose, making the drawing pretty blah and not adding any interest.

(See, guys, I used to do the "put the hand behind her back" pose before I knew how to do hands well! XD)

Now here is the finished product!

*squeals*

I think she looks a billion times better, and super pretty! I always have a fun time trying to take the shapes I used in the original drawing and incorporating them in the improved image. I added a necklace and a headband to her outfit, and I think it makes it look a lot more pretty! :D

The only problem I have is that her eyes are once again just a tiny bit unbalanced, but it's still a huge improvement and I can overlook it. :D

What do you guys think? :) I remember in the comments in my previous recreation, some people liked the original better, so tell me if you like the "before" better than the "after". :) Although I don't think there's anything up for debate really... XD

Mermaid

Hi everyone!:)

I drew a picture of a mermaid today! Also, I drew a picture for the next Glazed part, so that'll probably be up tomorrow morning or so.:)

But, here's the picture of my mermaid!:D

I love how when I am drawing, I get to create a story without even trying. I begin to wonder what my people in the drawing or doing, and what will be coming up, and soon enough a story idea unearths itself, and although the drawing may just seem like an ol' mermaid, I have already come up with the beginnings of a story for her.:D

 

I really need to stop drawing girls and focus all of my time and energy on guys, but I just don't wanna!XD Why couldn't I have been blessed with the natural talent of drawing guys?XD I'm so behind, in comparison to my girls. I wish I could draw them as effortlessly. Ugh.:( So, I should probably start working more on them...Yeah...

*sigh*

Heather, Kyra, and Madi

Hey, everyone! I drew up these three girls yesterday, and I plan to post about them often.:) They will show up and I'll have stories for the pictures I draw and I am just really excited!:) Here they are-

This is Heather.:) 

She has short coppery hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.:)

She is quiet, sensible, loves fashion, loves to read, she likes to have a routine, she is not good at being spontaneous, doesn't like to go to parties, and she hates having her hair in her face.

This is Kyra.

She has long blonde hair, side bangs, and brown eyes.:) 

She is a bubbly girl who is always making jokes, she loves sports, soccer, going outdoors, hiking, talking in silly voices, singing crazily, and talking in general. She doesn't like cold weather or reading.:)

This is Madi.:)

She has long curly brown hair, a blue streak in her hair, green eyes, and freckles.:) 

She is a sweet, energetic girl who loves to sing, she loves vintage clothing, shopping, looking at Pinterest, researching history, and doing her hair. She doesn't like coffee, chocolate, trying new things, and people who boast about their talents.
