Project: Finish What I Started

HI GUYS! XD
I hope you all had a great New Years as well as Christmas, since I was, uh, absent during the holiday season...
*shrug*
Anywhoo! I've been thinking how I've just been so unable to finish any of my drawings lately... Mainly the ones that require lots of coloring and shading and things I practically hate most in the drawing process...
I've started so many drawings I really want to finish, and I thought how it would be really cool to start something fun to help me finish drawings that deserve to be finished!

So, I present to you- Project: Finish What I Started

As long as it takes, I am going to be finishing all of the drawings in my current sketchbook (and possibly older sketchbooks if there are some drawings needing of completion)! And I also am thinking that if anyone else wants to join me in this, they can! Since my blog is open to a ton of people with a lot of different creative outlets- drawing, writing, blogging, music, idk -you can choose which one you'd like to join me with. Or, if you'd rather just watch me make drawings, that's totally fine, too! :) But if you would like to complete some of your own pieces, that story that has been hanging around uncompleted, artwork half done, blog posts abandoned after a lack of motivation, then you can put up the button on your blog or in a post or whatever. :) I don't really know, because it was just now that I thought of other people joining me. ;D

I think this could be a great way to start the New Year off. Here are some drawings I plan to finish during this project!





Going through my sketchbook reminded me of all the hopeless cases of drawings I had forgotten about completely. BUT GUESS WHAT GUYS??? I'M GONNA FINISH THEM EVEN IF THEY TURN OUT REALLY REALLY BAD.

So! Are any of you guys gonna finish anything alongside me? :) I'm going to get to work on this really soon, and I can't wait for it to be done and for me to see all of the drawings done!

      YES! RO! I cried once I got out of the theater in front of people and I felt really weird about that...but it was such a shock to me. o.O

      My mom says I am K2. I am not entirely sure how to take that, but, as she is my mom, I will accept her observation.

      I bought a K2 POP! Right after I saw it the second time. I couldn't restrain myself.

    OOH! I love your drawings and I'm sure they will turn out great though you may not like them!! XD That's great that you are trying to finish them! I know how annoying it is to have unfinished ones. XD
    Though I do not like Sherlock (I think that's who it is) (don't hurt me please) the shading you did on his scarf is amazing and I can't wait to see the finished product!
    P.S. I have watched Moana and Rogue One. Rogue One was INSANE. :'(

      Oh, it's actually Merlin (another show from BBC) , but they look a heck a lot alike, so I can't blame ya! ;D EXCEPT YOU DONT LIKE SHERLOCK??? WHAT WHY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? XD XD

      AW, thanks so much! :D OOH, it really issss!! The first episode is really weird, but the rest of the episodes from then on are really good! :) (I haven't finished the whole series though)

    Wow - your drawings are amazing! I can't wait to see the finished versions :) And when it comes to finishing projects I am the queen of procrastination! One of my goals this year is to spend more time writing and less time "thinking" about writing lol. And sadly I haven't seen Moana yet *hangs head in shame* but I'll be sure to get to it soon. All my friends keep singing the soundtrack!

    That seems like a really good project, Emma! Hmm...I don't really have any drawings that I haven't finished. One time I started a duck drawing, but then I erased the whole thing. :P I should still draw it again, though.

    I love the shading on Merlin's scarf! You should definitely finish that one. :)

    I saw Rogue One in the theater with my cousin, and at the end of the movie we just hugged each other and sobbed. I was in a slight depression for the next two days and then I wanted to see it again. Oh, the emotions of a fangirl! ;)

    Wait! Do you play Nancy Drew PC games too? Because one of your sketches looks like the cover of the game called 'The Silent Spy'. Which is one of my favorite Nancy Drew games.

      I do play occasionally, but you're right! That drawing is "The Silent Spy" cover. It's for my sister, who is a huge Nancy Drew nut! ;D
