Elsa Drawings

Hey everyone!
Yes, I know that Frozen is beginning to dwindle in popularity and some people are really sick and tired of it, but I still  really love Frozen and drawing Frozen  characters.:)
I've been drawing some pictures of Elsa recently and thought I would share them with you guys!:)
This first one is Elsa in her coronation outfit.:) Something just isn't right with this drawing, though I just can't place it.:/
Next, I drew a picture of Elsa with her hair down, I personally really like it!:)
And now my most recent drawing! I LOVE this one! It looks a ton like her and I'm really proud of it!:)

I hope you enjoyed my drawings! Til next time...

  3. Wow. Emma. You're as good as Disney! Especially with the last one! I seriously can not hardly even tell the difference between Disney's and your's! Wow. You totally blow me away! I showed my mom some of your drawings and she is really impressed too!:)
Also I was wondering if I can ask you some questions? I would like to do an interview of you so I can do a post about you on Girl Journalism. Since you inspired it. ;)
So if you are ok with that, could you answer these questions? I'll post my questions and your answers!:)
    Here we go;
    1) When did you start drawing/writing?
    2) Would you ever like to make a living at either?
    3) What inspires your ideas for your storys' and drawings'?
    4) How often do you do write or draw?
    5) In what kind of atmosphere do you prefer to write/draw in?
    6) What it your best tip for beginners concerning writing?
    7) What is your best tip for beginners concerning drawing?
    9) Have you had a book published or have had your drawings shown somewhere else besides on "Drawn to Writing"?
    Thanks, Emma!:D

    1. Oh my gosh, Lainey, I am so flattered!:) Oh, sounds super fun! Here are my answers-
      1. I have drawn ever since I was little. There were phases through my life where I wanted to be an artist, but I never took it seriously until around a year ago!:) I haven't written for a long time. I did make (really really badly spelled) stories when I was really little, but it was never something of interest to me until a year ago too!:)
      2. YES! I dream about being a Disney Animator for my career and also being a professional author!
      3. Well, for stories it can come from anything, really. I like to get inspiration from Pinterest, and sometimes I get inspiration from things that have happened in real life!:) For drawings I don't really get inspiration from anywhere. I just sort of start drawing a face and let it do what it wants to do!;)
      4. I don't write as often as I should, but I do try to write at least once a week. I draw really often, usually everyday.:)
      5. Hm, I don't have a particular atmosphere I like for writing or drawing. Usually I just do those things wherever I am!:) I write in my room most of the time though.
      6. I am nowhere close to being a professional, but any advice is to write what you love! Write what you wish could happen in real life. Nothing is impossible in books and that's what really entices me to it!:)
Also, read a lot! Your style of writing can be improved through reading!:)
      7. Practice! Draw as much as you can! Doodle whenever, wherever, and whatever! Get tips from other artists and ask your friends and family for critique. It may be hard to listen to them telling you the problems with your drawings, but it will help you in the end!:)
      8. My books have never been published and most aren't even finished, but one of my short stories- TAUT- is a photostory series on my doll blog.:) My drawings were sold at a local craft fair once, but that's all I can remember!:)

These questions were really fun to answer!:D Thanks!:)

  5. Wow, I love these! I really like Frozen and it's really fun to draw characters out of The Art of Frozen, which is like a collection of all the concept art and stuff. It's a great book~
