It's That Time Again! - Sketchbook Favorites

Hi everyone!
First off, can you believe that I haven't posted on here in some crazy amount of time, like a week or something?? I can't, but I think I know why...

I literally can't draw anything other than Ahsoka.

It's getting to be where I'm embarrassed at how she's practically the only thing I've drawn lately. I don't want to bore you all, so I've lacked posts that don't involve her in them.XD

Anyway, I finally finished my sketchbook, it took me since February and I was shocked to see my first drawing in the sketchbook- that drawing seemed like forever ago! But it's only been around for four months! Wow! Here are my top favorites from this sketchbook, some of which you haven't seen before (a lot you have though!;))!:D

1-
My most recent Kylo Ren drawing!
I love how this turned out, and I think it might be one of my best drawings, so it had to be my number one favorite drawing of this sketchbook!
2-
This drawing of Ahsoka is one of my proudest drawings I've done. It was super fun to do only with pencil, even though I'm sort of dying to know how it would look like with color.;)
3-
Hehe, another drawing of Ahsoka, but adult Ahsoka! You guys just recently saw this one, but I love it so much, it had to show up for this post.:) I feel like the colors turned out perfectly, and I think she looks so realistic!:)
4-
I think I've been improving with the profile angle of faces. Before, they used to be cumbersome and annoying, but now I love doing them!:)
5-
This drawing of me and my sister as Star Wars characters!;) I have always really loved this picture, but now I'm realizing how awkward my sister's lightsaber is, it should be way longer! LOL!
6-
My first drawing of Ahsoka, but the last one in this post!;) I'm noticing that Ahsoka's boots never changed when her outfits did...
7-
Judy and Nick!
Nick has to be my favorite character in this drawing! With his eyelids, which were so fun to draw, and his adorable snout, I couldn't leave him out of the post!
8-
I had so much fun drawing this picture of me as a Star Wars character, who happens to be a Jedi Padawan. I love my orange lightsaber!OuO
9-
I drew this picture for Jaclynn because she wants a purple lightsaber, but in the story I'm making of us (we're in the Star Wars universe) I gave her a blue lightsaber. To keep her happy, I'm going to give her a cameo where she fights with a purple lightsaber, which I then illustrated. I really liked the drawing.;)

I hope you guys enjoyed seeing what drawings of mine are my favorites!
I always really like making these posts, although I feel awkward saying "I love this drawing" because I don't want to sound prideful and boastful.;P I hope it doesn't come off that way.:)

I have a tutorial for how to draw hands coming up, so stay tuned for that!:)

I LOVE the ones of you and Jaclynn. Those are really good, and I love how you like to draw yourself as different characters. :)

    1. You should definitely post some of your drawings! Just because someone might be better than you doesn't mean you shouldn't post your stuff! If everyone didn't post their art because someone was better than them, no one would post their art!;)

    3. *posting some drawings* *laughs shyly* *turns to you* So, out of curiosity, is 14 too old to become a Padawan? 'Cuz in my fanfic, my character is 14....

    4. LOL! Your drawings aren't bad, AA!XD

Originally, they were meant to be trained from a super young age (so like 1, 2, 3 ish), but I think your story is set between the third and fourth episode, so I don't think it really matters in that time period, since Luke was trained at 19.;) Hope that helps!:)

  4. Emma, you are SOOOO good!!! I thought about posting some of my drawings in my sketchbook, but they are terrible. XD My people always look straight from Minecraft, or way out of proportion. :P I do have a question though, when you become famous for your amazing drawings, I will buy your art, fangirling the whole time yelling "I FOLLOWED HER BLOG!!!!!!!!" XD

    1. Thank you so much, Marissa!:) If you love drawing, there should be nothing holding you back from posting your art! It's your blog anyway, you can post whatever you want!;)

  5. AHHH EVERYTHING IS GORGEOUS!!!

Seriously, Emma... you draw Ahsoka so very well. I was just wondering: what paper do you use? Just regular printer paper? Because whenever I try to draw with colored pencils, there's always these little white specks that show through from the texture in the paper. I don't see any of that in your drawings. So it made me curious. ;)

    1. Thanks, Lizzy!:D Well, I use sketchbooks so whatever paper they put in it I use! LOL! But I'm pretty sure I use plain paper, since I can remember using textured paper and how that was difficult. I think the paper in my sketchbooks is a bit thicker than normal paper though, but it's not card stock. I hope this helps.;P
