My Highlights of the Star Wars Rebels Season Opener

Hi everyone!
Can you guys even believe how long it's been since I've posted? I have just not been feeling the motivation. Meh.XD
But anywhoo, you know what is motivating?! STAR WARS REBELS! So, I thought I'd make a post about the highlights of the season opener- Steps into Shadow! They're in no specific order...;)
Hope you enjoy!:D
*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

1. EZRA AND KANAN
MEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHE!!!
GUYUYUYUYUYUSSSSS!!! THEM. THEY. PLEASE. MORE.
The fight that they had was just so awesome, I loved it, and I want more. (Yes, I am very weird for wanting them to have more fights. Please don't judge me.XD) I just...you know, Kanan and Ezra are just such an awesome pair, and Ezra had grown up so much and *sniff*
Look at my little boy, growing up and getting ready to join the Dark Side. *sniff*
XD

2. EZRA GETS PROMOTED TO LIEUTENANT
This was awesome? Was it not? Ezra has just grown up so much and NOW HE'S A LIEUTENANT! Oh, wait. Right. HE BLEW IT AND NOW HE ISN'T ANYMORE.XD But at least he'll work back to it.XD

3. THRAAAWWWN
K, so Thrawn wasn't really in this episode as much as he should be, but he is posing a serious threat to my precious little group of Rebels, so that's gonna be awesome. Yep. He's gonna tear apart the Rebels piece by piece, which is super duper cool.XD

4. EZRA'S EPIC AWESOMENESS OF ALL EPICNESS
So, this sort of ties into just how he's growing up, but HIS NEW MOVES ARE AWESOME! AND HIS LIGHTSABER!!!!! I love the green crystal, anyone else curious as to how he got it? Hm? HM? HMMMM????

5. KANAN GROWING DISTANT AND HIS "COUNCIL SESSION" WITH BENDU
Kanan. My favorite. My blind precious. He's having some issues. And I love it. He was growing distant from everyone, the Force included, and that is just so emotional and awesome, AGH! PLUS THE FACT THAT HE HAD THAT AMAZING COUNCIL SESSION WITH BENDU!XD Bendu is just awesome, plain and simple.;D I can't wait to see more of him!

6. ALL OF THE AWESOME NEW CHARACTER DESIGNS
No need to explain, right? I'm gonna though.
I JUST LOVE ALL OF THEM! Especially Kanan, HIS MASK! Some of them are pretty subtle, but I love how they're all a lot more uniform and less rugged.XD
***
Those are my highlights, and I can't wait for the future episodes! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MAUL!
Although I have super mixed emotions with him, he's pretty epic and I'm eager to see how he, Ezra, and Kanan interact, concerning what happened in season 2.XD So, yeah.;)

What is your favorite new thing about Star Wars Rebels? What are you excited to see in future episodes?:)

NaNoWriMo Prep! *screaming*

EVERYONE!
NANO IS COMING AND I'M SO EXCITED AND SCARED AND---
*hyperventilates and dies*
*comes back to life as a ghost to finish this post*
So, yeah. I'm so excited and nervous! It's gonna be a huge challenge to write 50k in only a month (plus it's one of the busiest months of the year for me. *more ghost screaming*), but I am so ready!
Actually, no, I'm not.
I have to get ready, which I am doing right now! (I also may or may not be trying to possibly finish my current WIP before NaNo... *hysterical laughing and crying*)
Here's my NaNo prep plan...
My cool set up.XD
(my amazing new writing journal. I just can't)
1. Write my plot completely down.
Now that I have the idea and have fleshed it out a bit, it's time to write down the plot. No outlining because that's terrible, I can tell.XD I want to get it all written down, before I move onto other steps, but I have been doing some jumping around with these steps, that's for sure.;P

2. Fill out some character development sheets and such.
Once I have the plot, I'm gonna get to know my characters some more, but unfortunately, I have already done lots of this, and my story is still not completely written down. Oh, I'm so bad!XD

3. Drink lots of liquids and snacks as I try to fill in all the plot holes I can see.
Lots of crying and screaming will be in this step... BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY QUESTIONS IN MY STORY ALREADY THAT I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO ANSWER.
*shudders*
*cries*
*hides*
*dies again*
LOL!XD

4. Write everything onto my plot boards.
I have only put the title (which I don't know if it's staying or not, who knows.;)) on the board so far, because I'm still not sure if everything I've written for my plot will work out yet. So, the plot board awaits!;)

5. DRAW ALL OF THE CHARACTERS!
LOL! This step, as you can see, has already started... This is the ruler of my city in the book. His name is Bannan, at least that's his name for now.;) I've also started a drawing of my two main characters, WHICH I HOPE IS GONNA TURN OUT SUPER COOL! LOL! I'll have to show y'all once I finish it...

And after all of these steps are done to completion, I will wait with bated breath as November approaches. I will wish that it would come sooner, but also wish it would stay away forever.XD Then it'll come, and I'll freak out.XD
-Emma-
So, tell me...are you doing NaNo this year? Do you have any plans for your story? Have you started plotting yet? :)

Thoughts Had During Writing Days

Hi everyone!
If you're a writer, you know how crazy it can get when you have writing days...all of the things said, thought and done...
I thought it'd be fun to compile a list of all the crazy thoughts that occur to me while I have a writing day...
*clears throat*
I hope you can relate.

Okay, okay...where am I in this story?
Riiight...that's where I left off.... No wonder I stopped writing....
MMMMM....CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!!
Okay. Time to get some real writing done.
How do I even write this?
*presses enter* That seems like a good start. LOL!
*begins to think about other things as I try to figure out my story*
Oh gosh, Obi-Wan and Anakin. Kill me now.
WRITE, EMMA!!!!!!!!
"I'll feed you a chocolate chip if you write." *eats chocolate chip* *doesn't write*
I need Jaclynn. She would help me stop procrastinating...
*writes five words* GOOD EMMA!!!!
*clickety clack* *clickety clack*
Owwww...My shoulders hurt...
*sits up and stretches*
*begins to feel that I should just hermit and not write...*
Ughhh...I can't hermit with the door open. *glares* Why is it always open???
AND WHY DON'T I HAVE THE FORCE TO SHUT IT?!?!?!?!
*checks Pinterest* Why is there The Hunger Games pins in my feed? I haven't even watched that!
UUUUGGGGHHHHH...I should write. BUT I DON'T WANNA! *cries*
When will Jaclynn FaceTime me???? I NEED COMPANY!!!! Ooh, and chocolate.
I need inspiration. I need to read about people who write so I can be jealous and motivated. XD
Oh my gosh. Katie Grace says that writing the book is the easiest part. I'm doomed. O.O
*covers head with a blanket* I'm gonna hide from the real world.
Sigh...I'm gonna write now.
My computer is melting my chocolate! NOOOOO!!!
Now that I've read every post ever written by anyone, LET'S TRY TO WRITE!!! *screams into pillow because I really really don't wanna* (P.S. I scream into pillows. Fun tidbit about me)
I CAN'T WRITE WORDS.  HOOOOWWW??? I DON'T WANNA!!
My pillows are trying to steal my blankets...I wonder if my pillows are conspiring against me...?
"I know you're conspiring against me," I whisper to my pillows.
*sees my wallpaper* *groans*
I don't want to....I D-O-N-T W-A-N---I think you know where I'm going with this.
I have written a few sentences.
I should just become a sewer worker. Then I could be at a job I would enjoy more than writing....
YAY! Jaclynn can FaceTime!!!!!
Ick. HANGNAILS ARE THE WORST!
How do people love their stories so much? I like mine, but I also hate it. I hate it very much.
I am trying to write 2,500 words. 'Tis very hard. I've been at this for like four hours. UUUUGHGHHGHHGHGH!!
There's chocolate on my keyboard...
Writing isn't THAT hard. *laughs crazily*
I need food. I've barely ate today... *goes and searches for food like a hermit* (which means I'm slouched and look like a scavenger) LOL!
"I want to hermit so hard it will literally burst my organs."
"I'm a nun!"
"It doesn't really matter, Jaclynn, because everything we do at this age in life is stupid."
I just word warred for fifteen minutes and got 558 words...nice... I'm like 58 words away from my goal today!
I reached my goooaaaaalll!!!
***
I hope you enjoyed some of my thoughts and craziness...;) I reached my goal, so YAY!XD I've been plotting for NaNoWriMo (I'M DOING IT THIS YEAR OHMYGOSHHHH!), so today I wanted to try to have a day where I wrote 2,500, which is roughly around how much I would have to write if I were to go for the 50k...It took me forever. Like, all day. I really got stuff done once Jaclynn and I started warring! LOL! I guess I'd have to war against myself a lot during NaNo...O.O LOL! But anywhoo...I've got a NaNo post coming up soon!:D

Lately I've been coming up with so many post ideas on here, I wish I could post twice a day.XD

The Ultimate Tip for All Artists

Hi everyone!
I've had this tip in my head for the longest time, it's always been my biggest piece of advice to give to anyone. Writer, artist, person with a dream. EVERYONE!
Here's the shining tip in all of its splendor....
The best way to get better at anything is to keep doing it.

I've always been one of the people who has told everyone that practice makes perfect. I firmly believe that. I wouldn't be anywhere I was today with my art if I hadn't continued to draw and keep on going. You never really think about that, it's just sort of something that's so obvious it doesn't seem like it's important. But it's true.
Lately, I've been thinking about my writing. Sometimes it seems overwhelmingly stupid, so riddled with problems. My story is no doubt all over the place, it's unoriginal, cringe-worthy, like, please, no. I can also feel that way about my art. I see my future far ahead and I go- there is no way. There's no way that I'll ever be good enough to actually be the kind of artist I want to be. No way I will ever go that far.
I think about artist's legacies that they've left.
I think about the insanely original stories that people like George Lucas or J.K. Rowling have created.
And I can lose hope, telling myself I'll never be that good. I make too many mistakes. I'm way too far behind.
But the truth is that if I don't keep going, there is no hope. There is no chance if I stop now! The only way I could fail is to not try at all.
You have to gain the experience to become better! You have to make all of the mistakes to actually acheive something good.
God has given me a talent. But if I had never done any work to foster that talent, I'd still be drawing this-
(oh the horrorrrrr....)

Now, to quote Captain Rex...
(not mine...credit to whoever owns it!:D)

So, if you're dealing with a rough patch in your art, just know that the only way to get better is to make those mistakes. Learn from them. Practice does make perfect.:)

Sunday Doodles - Wait, Whaaaa?

Hello my fellow humans...
Does anyone remember....SUNDAY DOODLES????
*crickety crick crick*
That's what I thought...Sunday doodles was a thing I did when I first started blogging on here! Some probably may remember it, but I'm guessing most don't! Welp, to recap---
I draw during church service in the papers that the peeps give me. I used to post them each week, but now I always forget.
*nervous laugh*
So, yeah.
But this week I actually had a drawing (er, well...two) that I wanted to actually showcase for a Sunday Doodle! 'Tis why I am here today... Plus, I haven't posted in over a week...
*more nervous laughter*
Anywhoo... I'm excited to show you these drawings, so scroll onwards...
The first drawing is of a girl in the rain. THIS WOULD BE ME IF IT EVER RAINED IN THIS HEAT-SCORCHED DESERT!
*blubbering and mad babbling about cold weather*
This drawing was supposed to be a normal modern drawing but as it went on it took on the fashion taste of a sorta...Star Wars vibe.
CAN I DRAW ANYTHING THAT ISN'T STAR WARS???
The answer to that question is no, for LO AND BEHOLD--- A Togruta. A very, very Ahsoka inspired Togruta. Like, it is literally Ahsoka except for her tattoos and stripes on her montrals are different.XD LOL!
***
I hope you enjoyed seeing these drawings! I had a really fun time making them! In case you didn't enjoy this post (shame on you LOL! JK), I've got a (hopefully) cool tip post for writers and artists alike to read! I'm planning on getting it up around....Hmmmm...I want to say Tuesday, but it might end up being Wednesday or so!;)

What is something you always find yourself drawing (or writing) constantly?
